Katherine D. Klosowski is vice president and manager, natural hazards and structures engineering, for FM Global, one of the world’s largest commercial and industrial property insurers.
She oversees a team of loss prevention engineers working to help companies better cope with the increased risk that natural hazards bring.
Prior to her current role, Klosowski was the Division Engineering Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; served in a corporate role implementing changes for the engineering community of well over 1,000 employees; and worked in Brussels, Belgium for several years as the Group Manager of Field Engineering. Since joining the organization in 1988, Katherine has also been a field engineer, account engineer, and training specialist.
Klosowski has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA and an M.S. in Training and Development from Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
