JOHNSTON, R.I., USA—George Plesce, senior vice president, chief client experience and sales officer at commercial property insurer FM Global, has been named a “2021 Executive to Watch” by Risk & Insurance magazine.

According to the magazine, “Executives to Watch” are “those who are taking on a new responsibility, got a big promotion, or who are managing a product essential to the function of the economy.”

Plesce, who the magazine described in its November 2020 issue as “an industry veteran in a business that sells assurance and supports resilience,” says “it’s critically important that we understand the needs of our clients and that we are close to our clients and broker partners, because this is the toughest time that many of them have ever faced.”

In hardening markets, Plesce explained to the magazine, “the best defense for any organization is resilience. That enables them to weather the storm of higher premiums and tighter terms and conditions, as well as better assuring their ability to stay on their mission and business plan.”
