Deanna Fidler, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at FM Global, one of the world’s largest commercial property insurers, has been named a “2022 Executive to Watch” by Risk & Insurance magazine.
The magazine describes Fidler as someone who “knows about the right talent” and whose “responsibilities are far reaching,” pointing out that when she was promoted to her current role a few months ago, “she became the first woman in FM Global’s history to be named to the position.”
Fidler joined FM Global in 2018 and currently oversees human resources, diversity and inclusion, strategy and business enablement, technology, and the FM Global Academy, the company’s client and employee training division.
“The skills required to lead in a post-pandemic world are very different,” Fidler explained to Risk & Insurance. “Leaders need to be equipped to inspire authentically, understand and empathize with the evolving needs of the real human beings in their organizations.”
