JOHNSTON, R.I. USA—Johnell R. Holly, operations senior vice president of FM Global’s New York operations, has been elected to the board of directors of the Spencer Educational Foundation.
The Spencer Educational Foundation was established in 1979 to honor the late Robert S. Spencer, a past president of the Risk Management Society (RIMS). The organization awards student scholarships, facilitates internship and experiential learning opportunities and provides grants to further the education of risk management and insurance leaders.
Johnell is responsible for client service and property loss prevention services for clients in the greater New York area. Previously, he served as operations vice president, area manager, Asia operations, where he oversaw the management of insurance operations. He joined the company in 2001 as a consultant engineer.
Johnell is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received a bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems engineering.
