Rachel Cope, vice president and international finance director at commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global, has been honored by Business Insurance magazine with a 2017 Women to Watch Award for her outstanding achievements in risk management and insurance. Cope was selected by a panel of Business Insurance editors. The selection criteria included recent professional achievements, leadership qualities and professional expertise.

Cope began her career at FM Global in 2005 as a financial reporting supervisor. As noted in the magazine’s December 2017 issue, Cope “has been the finance director of FM Global’s U.K. subsidiary FM Insurance Co. Ltd., but also recently moved to Luxembourg to oversee finance and administration at FM Insurance Europe S.A., which received its business license in May. Her task is to ensure a ‘seamless’ transition of a large portion of business from the U.K. entity to the European subsidiary.”
